More Wasteland final pieces!

"The rattle of Bones and chuckles spread from ear to ear", this took me quite a while! It's suprising how long hand painting lettering can take, but i think it's worth it.

"The typist home at teatime", it was tough doing the text on this one, making it look like splodgy typewriter print by using a fineliner. Im hoping I pulled it off.

"Put out the cat, and..."

This is a page for a childrens book, the whole class was given a sentence each and had to create their illustration around it. However there were certain rules, which were that the character had to have the stripy top and red converse trainers, and the background had to be in black and white. Other than that "Sam" could be any character you wanted him/her to be.

Aspects of Love

Another editorail illustration! Our tutors do like these. This is for an article on what parents do after their children have left home to go to university, so i focussed on the parents spending their savings travelling the world

Noise

An editorial illustration for an article in a newspaper on unnecessary noise in everyday life

A couple of Wasteland final pieces

Two of the final pieces iv created for my Wasteland project, a few more are going to arrive later!

Monster Mash

Again, another strange scan! This is an illustration for the Monster Mash song. Instead of looking at the Monster theme i kinda went off towards the mad scientist at the beginning in his lab, and thats how this odd chemistry set was born!
